A visit to the dentist can lead to fewer fillings in the future thanks to a new treatment being offered at a Derby dental surgery.
Cosmetic White Smiles at The Oakwood Dental Centre is offering the very latest HealOzone technology to treat and prevent dental decay in children's teeth. No injections or drills - but a safe painless treatment set to revolutionise the treatment for children's teeth. In the UK 61% of nine year olds and 45% of five year olds suffer from active tooth decay or filled teeth*.
HealOzone floods the decayed tooth surface with harmless Ozone, killing the decay-forming bacteria. The whole treatment takes less than an hour. Normal bacteria types will re-grow over the clean surface and minerals from special mouth rinses and saliva are absorbed into the tooth surface. In some cases the extent of dental decay may require a filling at a later date.
