Uneven teeth can make a smile appear unattractive. Braces or Orthodontic treatment are often used in youngsters for straightening teeth that may not be aligned or forming in a uniform way. Braces are also widely used by adults these days in order to straighten teeth and achieve a straighter set of teeth and an attractive smile.

Orthodontics take a period of time to work as the brace is used to push the teeth into the correct alignment and shape and this takes time in order to perfect and achieve the final result.

Often people who have crooked or defective teeth may feel embarrassed to smile, talk or interact with people around them and they may even consider themselves unattractive which can, in turn, have a negative effect on their confidence level.

To make sure that you get the best results from your orthodontic treatment, you must follow the advice your Orthodontist gives you and the braces must be worn for the period of time specified, with regular visits to your Orthodontist at the necessary intervals.

The Orthodontist can monitor the progress being made to make sure the treatment is working as it should and in order to aim to get the results from your dental treatment, so that you can have a healthy looking and beautiful, straight set of teeth.
