At Cosmetic White Smiles, we are also able to offer an alternative, tray-based home teeth whitening method, whereby a professional dental teeth whitening gel is used in conjunction with custom made trays. The trays containing the professional dental whitening gel are worn for several hours each day (or night), over a period of 2-4 weeks. Whilst wearing your whitening trays, your teeth are safely and gently whitened.
Research has shown that teeth whitening is perfectly safe for teeth and gums. This is because the teeth whitening procedures we use do not change the structure of the teeth; only the colour of teeth is affected.
If caffeine, red wine and cigarettes continue to be a daily fix, you can rebrighten your smile by wearing your trays for a few nights every six to nine months.
