Philippa Hoyle is currently a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital (CCDH) in Sheffield. She has completed her 5 years postgraduate multidisciplinary specialist training and has successfully sat her specialism exams in Restorative Dentistry (ISFE) and Prosthodontics (MPros). As part of her training and clinical practice she is heavily involved in the multidisciplinary management of challenging cases. She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of both surgical and non-surgical periodontal and endodontic management, prosthodontics management, as well as implants placement and restoration within secondary care. She is also involved in teaching dentists and dental care professionals at varying levels in their career; from undergraduates to postgraduate dentists and she has also run numerous courses for general dental practitioners.

Philippa completed her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD Hons) at University of Leeds in 2012 and has pursued a career in specialist care ever since. After completing her DFT1 in primary care she returned to Leeds Dental Institute (LDI) as a DFT2 in Restorative Dentistry and subsequently took a role at the LDI as a Speciality Dentist. Philippa then completed her Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF RCS (Eng)) in 2014 prior to undertaking her specialist training.

She is author and co-author on numerous papers published in peer-reviewed journals as well as presenting posters at national and international conferences. She is a member of British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry Early Career Group and is a council member of the British Society for Restorative Dentistry.

Philippa joined Cosmetic White Smiles in 2018 and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the team. She has been particularly involved in the management of tooth wear cases since she started in private practice
